The route winds through ancient rural villages, here called Contrade, passing through woods of fragni and downy oaks, with Mediterranean scrub and aromatic herbs. It starts from the picturesque Contrada Cocolicchio which stands in a panoramic position in front of the hill of the Selva di Fasano to continue on wooded paths, between valleys and hills. Going up the hill you reach the imposing Apulian Aqueduct Cycle Route, which for a long stretch crosses the south-eastern Murgia. You will cross it also crossing the characteristic stone bridges, one of which has a panoramic view of the Canale di Pirro. Going down the hill you follow paths that cut arable land, pastures making you enjoy a beautiful bucolic landscape. The guided ring route is about 9 km long.

Difficulty: medium, with a small demanding stretch.
Duration: about 4 hours.
Clothing: technical shoes and dressing in layers are recommended.
Upon request it is possible to combine a final tasting of local products.
