Valle d'Itria

I Trulli di Puglia - Artistic Historical Guide

The guide analyzes all types of dry stone architectures existing on the territory of Puglia, from Gargano to Salento, once used as agricultural and pastoral shelters.  An in-depth study is dedicated to the Trulli of the Valle d'Itria, which undoubtedly represent a structural and socio-economic evolution of the architectural phenomenon. A chapter of the guide is dedicated to the religiosity, symbolism and literature of the Trulli of the Valle d'Itria.
