The guide analyzes all types of dry stone architectures existing on the territory of Puglia, from Gargano to Salento, once used as agricultural and pastoral shelters. An in-depth study is dedicated to the Trulli of the Valle d'Itria, which undoubtedly represent a structural and socio-economic evolution of the architectural phenomenon. A chapter of the guide is dedicated to the religiosity, symbolism and literature of the Trulli of the Valle d'Itria.
